Mayfair is one of the most exclusive districts of London and of course holds the prestige of being the most expensive square on the Monopoly board! It earned its name after the May Fair, an annual event which took place around Shepherd Market from 1686 to 1764. Hertford Street was established during the building boom of the 1760s and is reputedly named after the Hertford Inn (no longer in existence).
We are sorry, there are no current employment vacancies at 9 Hertford Street.
At 9 Hertford Street we value all of our team members and like to do the very best for them. We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer.
On each stay, the apartments have been spotless, the beds comfortable and kitchens well-equipped – just the ticket for independent travellers who don’t need ‘hotel’ services. A great place for visitors on business or for leisure!
We stayed at 9 Hertford Street over the Easter weekend and could not have hoped for a better place to be with our two-year old son. Not only was his cot ready when we arrived but we were greeted with chocolates, fresh fruits and a lovely card written by the manager. The flat was very spacious and bright, with a terrace. We all felt at home straight away. The concierges were very helpful and friendly. I was even provided with a laptop for an hour in order to catch up with some work!
