Elephant sculptures on display in London’s parks

A stunning installation of one hundred elephant sculptures (assembled in 8 herds), transversing Berkeley Square, Green Park and St James’ Park, will be on show for the next six weeks. The free exhibition, initiated by the Elephant Family and The Real Elephant Collective for CoExistence, is a fabulous multi-sensory experience. The beautiful elephants have been created in Tamil Nadu by indigenous communities who live in close proximity to their real-life counterparts, and the experience is enhanced with Xerjoff perfumes “creating a multi-sensory experience through fragrance, transporting people to the Nilgiri Hills of Southern India where the elephants began their migration.”

Designer and Founder of the Real Elephant Collective Shubhra Nayar conducted in depth research via The Shola Trust and studied hours of elephant footage.

Any funds raised by CoExistence will be distributed to grass roots organisations in India that enable people and wildlife to coexist harmoniously together. What a wonderful initiative!
