Yesterday saw the opening of a fabulous new family-friendly exhibition just a short walk from Oxford Circus.

Working in collaboration with animators Aardman, The Cartoon Museum presents an exhibition about the much-loved, Academy Award winning The Wrong Trousers. Treasures of the show include original artwork, models and set pieces.

The museum’s curator, Emma Stirling-Middleton, explains: “The exhibition has everything that survives relating to The Wrong Trousers (1993). It takes you on a journey through the making of the film, from Nick Park’s sketchbooks, seeing the evolution of the characters, then developing them into an original script, then storyboarding. Then stepping onto the studio floor to see original models and props. And then we look at the film’s legacy – including the Oscar.”

A must-see for animation and cartoon fans alike!
