Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew

We strongly recommend a visit to Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew for any garden lover. Founded in 1840, it houses the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world, has a fascinating history (its own police force was formed in 1845 – the constables, when not on patrol, were part time gardeners), is one of London’s top attractions and is a World Heritage Site. The stunning riverside area of Kew has a village feel; there is a fabulous choice of independent shops, tea rooms and restaurants. Make a day of it – it’s really easy to get to from us and we are more than happy to organise a trip for you.
