Borough Market

It’s always such a joy to visit Borough Market which is located in the historic area of Southwark Cathedral, just south of the River Thames.

Established in 1756 (but with a history of a market on the site since the twelfth century), it’s a fantastic place to purchase high quality food from all over the world. Traders include Palace Culture (vegan cheeses from south east London), Whirld (handmade fudge), Tea2You (specialist teas from north east India), Starks Fruiterers (seasonal fruit and veg), Shellseekers Fish and Game (produce from Dorset) and of course there is also the Borough Market Store where you can get market merchandise. There are also plenty of amazing street food sellers; prepare to be spoiled for choice!

Open seven days a week, it’s also dog-friendly.
