Constellations – a new and dynamic play at the Vaudeville Theatre

Constellations, which opened last week at the newly-refurbished Vaudeville Theatre, is an exciting and dynamic two actor play which considers the various courses a relationship can take. The rotating cast of some of Britain’s best-loved actors represent different couples and the dilemmas they may face.

Director Michael Longhurst explains “…the play is all about choices… One of the things I’m most proud of is that when the production was announced on Twitter, many people tweeted that they couldn’t decide which couple to come and see. There’s something really thrilling about each of them, and the lived experience of each couple can’t help but infuse the script.”

This weekend we saw the fabulous Peter Capaldi and Zoë Wanamaker representing an older couple.  The energy they brought to the stage was completely mesmerising; we are already planning a return visit to see how another two actors, and who they represent, shape the production.

Rotating cast:

Sheila Atim & Ivanno Jeremiah
Peter Capaldi & Zoë Wanamaker
Omari Douglas & Russell Tovey
Anna Maxwell Martin & Chris O’Dowd
