Coronation Day schedule

Wishing you a fantastic Coronation weekend from us all at 9 Hertford Street! For those who may be in London or who will watch proceedings online, the schedule for tomorrow is listed below. We would love to see any photographs you take so please do share them with us!

6am – the procession route opens. Viewing areas can be found either side of Whitehall and The Mall.

7.30am – live tv coverage will begin as guests start to arrive at Westminster Abbey.

10.20am – The King’s Procession will depart from Buckingham Palace, making its way along The Mall, through Admiralty Arch, down Whitehall and Parliament Street before arriving at Westminster Abbey. The King and Queen will be travelling in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach.

11am – the Coronation ceremony will begin.

Noon – as the King is crowned, gun salutes will be fired across the UK, including Hyde Park.

1pm – the Coronation Procession will depart Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace, following the same route taken to the Abbey earlier in the day. The King and Queen will travel in the Gold State Coach. They will arrive at the Palace by 1.30pm.

1.45pm – the Royal Salute will take place.

2.15pm – the Royal Family will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

2.30pm – a spectacular flypast featuring 60 military aircraft will go over The Mall (weather permitting).
