Whilst staying at 9 Hertford Street with your dog, a lovely experience to enjoy with them is a dog-friendly cinema outing.

Picturehouse cinemas offer a good variety of popular titles for dog-friendly screenings at several of their London locations with at least one event a week. Please see their website for further information.

Picturehouse explain: “you’ll be issued with a fleece blanket to cover the seat used by the dog or to use as a rug if the dog sits on the floor. During the screenings, we will provide bowls of water around the screen. We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack. Please be aware that we reduce capacity when offering ‘dog-friendly’ screenings, so there may be fewer tickets than usual. We limit dogs to: one dog to one adult.”

Our director Vladimir has attending screenings with his adorable dog, Daisy: My Daisy, like many dogs, does not register moving images on the screen but she is attracted by the sound, thoroughly enjoys meeting other dogs and their owners, and rejoices in the slightly chaotic ambiance.”

Our closest venue is Picturehouse Central on Shaftesbury Avenue, just an 18-minute walk from Hertford Street.
