This week we were delighted to welcome Imran from Avicenna Emergency Assistance & First Aid Training to deliver a first aid training day at 9 Hertford Street.
Imran, who works as a First Responder as well as an EMS Instructor, led an informative and rewarding session which not only provided us with invaluable skills and knowledge but also confidence in how to respond in an emergency.
The course covered resuscitation, how to use a defibrillator, disorders of circulation, wounds and bleeding, seizures, minor burns and scalds, and foreign objects. These skills are valuable not only in the workplace, but also in public and at home.
We are very grateful to Imran for teaching us in such an enjoyable way.
