Tickets are now on sale for Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto which will be held at the Victoria & Albert Museum from 16 September until 25 February.
A major retrospective of the work of Gabrielle Chanel, it will chart the evolution of the House of Chanel and the couturière’s signature style which continues to influence fashion.
Highlights of the exhibition include the highly influential marinière blouse from her spring/summer 1916 collection, costumes for Le Train Bleu (1924) and fantastic examples of her trademark style in the form of dresses and suits spanning the decades.
