Whilst the mild weather may have tricked us into thinking that the festive season is still a way off, it is in fact just under seven weeks until Christmas day. Last Wednesday, Oxford Street’s lights were switched on and equally enchanting displays will be launched over the coming days in Covent Garden and Carnaby Street (8 November), Regent Street and Belgravia (9 November), Bond Street (17 November), Chelsea (19 November) and Shepherd Market (1 December). Sustainability and the environment have been key in this year’s planning with re-usable LEDs being selected, wherever possible, over traditional bulbs.

You may also like to catch the Winter Lights exhibition at the Southbank Centre which is a truly stunning free, open-air display; whilst you are there, enjoy the Winter Market where you can find traditional warming refreshments, gifts and decorations.
