Presented as part of Art in Mayfair’s annual celebration, this week sees the launch of 2022’s Mayfair Sculpture Trail (which runs until 31 July). This free event advocates art for all; one can enjoy perusing new works in their temporary homes alongside permanent art around Mayfair.
This year’s exhibitors include Antony Gormley, Lee Gil Rae, Andy Denzler, Michael Speller and David Breuer-Weil. Permanent exhibits include works by Henry Moore (Time-Life Screen at 153 New Bond Street), Banksy (Falling Shopper, Bruton Lane) and Elisabeth Frink (Horse and Rider, New Bond Street). A downloadable map is available from the Mayfair Art Weekend website and an audio commentary can be accessed through Smartify.
