The Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre will be running a programme of fabulous productions from mid May until the end of September. The titles chosen for this year’s event are the brilliant Legally Blonde, 101 Dalmatians and Antigone. BSL interpreted, captioned and audio-described performances are available for all three shows; additionally, there will be a relaxed production of 101 Dalmatians.
This esteemed out-of-doors theatre was established in 1932 in the Queen Mary’s Gardens section of the park. It has a capacity of 1256 on amphitheatre seating and won the prestigious London Theatre of the Year in The Stage Awards in 2017 and the Highly Commended Award for London Theatre of the Year in 2021. It really is a wonderful experience with shows to appeal to all tastes. We are particularly looking forward to Legally Blonde which is being directed by the acclaimed Six the Musical co-writer and co-director, Lucy Moss.
