Acclaimed Mayfair restaurant Sketch has launched its 11th Sketch in Bloom season which this year marks 250 years of Jane Austen. Running until 1 June, guests will be treated to elaborate floral designs throughout the building and can book a Jane Austen-inspired afternoon tea, 3 Michelin Star lunch, enjoy special cocktails and choose from a series of special events.

About

Fondly known as the ‘destination with experimentation’, Sketch’s 11th floral celebration has taken inspiration from the works of Jane Austen. With installations by Lucy Vail Floristry (Reception, Entrance Hall and The Glade), Rob Van Helden (The Lecture Room & Library), Ricky Paul (The Pod Loos), guests will be surrounded by rich and sumptuous floristry, all of course quintessentially British and very Jane Austen.

The season offers guests a special afternoon tea, 3 Michelin Star lunch, a special cocktail menu and a programme of events. There is also the opportunity to purchase copies of exclusive editions of Pride & Prejudice and Emma, which Sketch has produced in collaboration with Penguin.

Getting there

Sketch is located at 9 Conduit Street which is a 14-minute walk from 9 Hertford Street. It can also be reached by taking the number 22 bus from Old Park Lane to Conduit Street.
