The UK is having an extra Bank Holiday weekend, from 6 to 8 May, to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Saturday 6 May will begin with the Coronation Service, where the King and Queen Consort will travel to Westminster Abbey for the solemn event, followed by a Ceremonial Procession to Buckingham Palace and culminating in a Royal Gun Salute in Hyde Park and an appearance from the Royal Family on the iconic palace balcony.
It’s going to be an incredibly special historic weekend in our beautiful capital.
