Wander Art: Follow the outdoor gallery trail in Mayfair and Belgravia

Wander Art is a fabulous project curated by multidisciplinary curatorial agency Alter-Projects and hosted by Landlord Grosvenor Britain & Ireland. The outdoor, socially-distanced gallery trail, created for the public to enjoy as they walk through Mayfair and Belgravia, follows the theme of Urban Jungle. The exhibition showcases twelve striking works (including sculptures, installations and murals), bringing together examples of art by some of the world’s most exciting creative talents.

Founder of Alter-Projects, Anne-Laure Pingreoun, explained:

“Wander Art is for the whole community, it can make what they want from their journey, with no specific route planned for them. Parting from a re-discovery of their city, journeys they can take in terms of self-reflection and mental and emotional escapism are limitless.”

Works include Face to Face by André Mendes, The Only Way Is Up by Craig & Karl, Fabriques by Emily Forgot, Wild Lights by Fernando Laposse, The Five Fields by Jordan Söderberg Mills, Red Hot Contrasts by Julien Colombier, Tell Me Something Nice by Kinska, Watching You Grow by Margaux Carpentier, See Through by Morag Myerscough, Have You Seen The Lions by Ricardo Cavolo, Small, Medium, Large by Richard Woods and In Plants We Trust by Yinka Ilori MBE.

We certainly find these beautiful additions to our locality an absolute joy. Do look out for them when you are in the area!

The exhibition will run until April 2021.
